When I try to start my application I am asked for an 'Application Key'.  How do I get past this message?

The Application Key message box appears because of several reasons. The most common one is because the licensing diskette was not installed or installed incorrectly. Here are the steps to installing the application key: 

1. Insert the licensing diskette in a 3.5 floppy disk on a client machine.
2. Open up Windows Explorer and browse to the 3.5 floppy drive. Run the install.exe.
3. The install will now ask you to select the application directory. This is your WorthIT directory where all the applications reside in. Please choose the WorthIT directory.

Run the correct program (i.e. Fixed Assets 3.5/4.0/4.1SE/4.1CE) and it should take you to the WorthIT Logon screen.

The application directory is located in the WorthIT directory.  It is called Data.  Within this directory, there should be an appkey.txt file.  This is the main file that contains your licensing information.
