How do I restore my Backup file?
There are two methods which can be used to restore your backup file.
Method 1: This is performed through the Fixed Assets program. Click on File>Close. Then click on File>Restore. Browse to the backup file and click on Open. Remember, your backup file will have the extension WZP. WorthIT Fixed Assets will now try to decompress the backup file to the folder it is currently in. Usually, you would want to create a new folder in order to restore your backup file to. Type in the new folder name in the field at the
top and then click OK. The backup file will be decompressed into this new folder.
Method 2: Go to the WorthIT folder in the Start Menu, and click on Backup & Restore shortcut. Select your user name and click on Restore. Select the asset book that you want to restore. Choose the folder in which you want to restore the backup to. You can also type in a new folder name as well. Click Ok and the restoring process should take place.
After restoring your asset book, you will have to manually open it up. This can be done simply by going to File>Open and browsing for your asset book. If you do not know where your asset book is, please click here.
