WorthIT - Solomon Interface

Solomon IV

Information Exchanged:

  • Account information to WorthIT
  • Business Unit information to WorthIT
  • Vendor Information to WorthIT
  • Fixed asset purchases from the Purchase Order module
  • Fixed asset purchases from the Account Payable module
  • Journal Vouchers from WorthIT to the General Ledger module
How the Interfaces work:
  • The connection is made through ODBC to the Solomon database
  • Information flowing to WorthIT is passed by reading the accounting database and writing it to the WorthIT database.
  • Journal Vouchers flowing from WorthIT Fixed Assets are passed by reading the WorthIT database.
  • In Solomon, the transactions are accomplished by passing a held voucher batch to the Transaction Import Utility.

For all other accounting packages, WorthIT Fixed Assets offers a user-friendly import/export feature.  Files are exported out of WorthIT in text format allowing for easy manipulation of data, such as Journal Vouchers, to be imported into another system.  Users are also able to import asset information such as description, acquisition cost, and life to date depreciation into WorthIT Fixed Assets in CSV file format (comma-separated value).
